What types of wood are used in your Wooden Wall Hooks collection?
Our wall hooks are available in three premium hardwoods: American Black Walnut, European Oak, and Ash. Each wood is hand-selected for its character, grain, and durability.
How do the wood types differ?
American Black Walnut is prized for its rich, deep tones and hardness. European Oak offers a warm, versatile light brown with a classic grain. Ash has a pale, creamy appearance with a distinctive, lively grain pattern — ideal for lighter, Scandinavian-influenced interiors.
Can I choose a specific wood type?
Yes — all three wood types are available to select at the product level, so you can choose the finish that best suits your space.
Are the hooks treated with any finish?
All our wooden wall hooks are professionally finished with a durable satin varnish, which enhances the natural beauty of the wood and provides long-lasting protection.
Strength & Suitability
Are there differences in strength between the wood types?
All three woods are highly durable. Walnut is particularly hard, Oak is renowned for its structural strength, and Ash is exceptionally resilient and flexible. Any of the three will serve you well for everyday use.
What can the hooks hold?
Our wall hooks are designed to be sturdy and versatile — suitable for towels, coats, bags, and similar everyday items.
Which rooms are they suitable for?
Our hooks work beautifully in any room: hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and utility spaces. Their clean, minimal design integrates naturally into a wide range of interiors.
Can they be used in wet or damp conditions?
We recommend keeping the hooks in dry environments. While the satin varnish provides a degree of protection, prolonged exposure to moisture or steam may affect the wood over time.

How are the hooks installed?
Installation is the same across all wood types. Each set includes easy-to-use mounting plugs suitable for a range of surfaces, including wood, plasterboard, and masonry brick walls.
